Manage Users

Add users with signup links, manage roles, resend invites, reset passwords, and send welcome emails.

Owners and admins can add and manage users for their account.

Add a User

Use Users to add a person to the account. Enter the user's name, email address, role, account, and personal folder name.

When you save a new user, Sparky Cooks creates a signup invite instead of creating a finished user immediately. The recipient receives a signup link, creates their password, and Sparky Cooks provisions their user record and folder setup automatically.

Account plan user limits are checked before an invite is created.

User Invites

The User Invites panel shows active, expired, used, disabled, creating, and failed signup links.

Use it to:

  • Review outstanding signup links.
  • Disable a link that should no longer be used.
  • Resend an expired link when the account still has room for the user.

Existing Users

Existing users can be edited according to your role permissions. Owners and admins can update allowed profile fields, roles, and folder settings. Sparky Cooks prevents changes that would remove the last owner from an account.

Pending setup users may show Resend Invite. This sends fresh account setup instructions.

Confirmed users may show Send Welcome Email. This sends the app welcome email only and does not reset the user's password.

Use Reset Password when the user needs a password reset.

Users can also be disabled, re-enabled, or scheduled for deletion depending on your permissions.
