Focused Cooking Steps: See the current instruction with its ingredients, helpful equipment, timers, temperatures, and a preview of what comes next.
Apple Cooking Timers: Run multiple timers, pause or extend them, follow them on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island, and hear an alarm until you stop it.
Cooking Progress That Waits: Close Start Cooking and return without losing the current stage, checklists, or cooking step. Finish clears the temporary session.
Existing Recipes: Prepare a cooking guide automatically the first time Start Cooking is used with an existing recipe.
