Cooking Assistant

The Cooking Assistant is the recipe and cooking helper built into Sparky Cooks.

You can open it from the floating purple button in the lower-right corner of the app. Recipe-formatting tools are also available from the editor.

Create and Format Recipes

Use Create a Recipe from the left sidebar or from the Cooking Assistant when you want to start a recipe with guided formatting.

The assistant can work with:

• A recipe URL where automated extraction is permitted.
• Pasted recipe text.
• The full recipe currently in the editor.
• Selected text.
• Selected editor blocks.

When the assistant returns a result, you can cancel, compare, or accept it. Accepting the result updates the editor. It does not save the recipe until you choose Save or Save As.

Ask Cooking Questions

Use the Cooking Assistant for substitutions, techniques, timing, temperature, meal ideas, and questions about recipes in your account.

Turn on Search account recipes for this answer when you want the assistant to use your account recipes as context. When recipes are used, Sparky Cooks shows source recipes that can be opened from the answer.

Grocery List Shortcuts

The Cooking Assistant also includes:

• Create List from Recipes to start dashboard recipe selection.
• Manage Grocery Lists to open your owned and shared grocery lists.

Review Results

Assistant responses are cooking-focused and can be limited by account usage. Review ingredients, quantities, timing, allergy information, and food-safety advice before relying on a response.
