Ask a Cooking Question

The Cooking Assistant is the floating purple button in the lower-right corner of the app.

Use it for cooking-related questions such as:

• Ingredient substitutions.
• Cooking techniques.
• Timing and temperature questions.
• Meal ideas.
• Questions about recipes in your account.

Ask a Question

1. Choose the purple floating button.
2. Type a cooking question.
3. Press Enter or choose the send button.
4. Review the answer.

Press Shift+Enter if you need a new line in the question.

Search account recipes

Turn on Search account recipes for this answer when you want the assistant to use recipes in your account as context.

When account recipes are used, Sparky Cooks may show a Based on your recipes section. Choose a source recipe to open it.

Create a Recipe

The Cooking Assistant dialog also includes Create a Recipe. Use that button when you want to create or format recipe content rather than ask a general cooking question.

Limits and Review

The Cooking Assistant is cooking-focused. It may refuse unrelated requests, and account plan limits may apply.

Assistant responses can be wrong. Confirm food safety, allergy, and dietary details before relying on an answer.
