Profile

Manage your personal profile information.

Use Profile to update your personal Sparky Cooks details, profile picture, and default start folder.

Open Profile

Open your profile menu from your name or profile picture, then choose Profile.

Update Your Profile Picture

Select your profile picture to open Choose Profile Picture.

You can:

  • Upload a photo from your device.
  • Generate an avatar.
  • Choose from previous profile photos you have saved.

After choosing a picture, select Save in the picture window. The profile page will show the new picture as an unsaved change. Select Save on the profile page to finish updating your profile, or use Revert photo to go back to the previous picture before saving.

Update Personal Details

Profile includes:

  • Account Number: shown for reference.
  • First Name and Last Name: editable.
  • Email: shown for reference and cannot be changed from Profile.
  • Phone: editable. Enter a US phone number.
  • Groups: shown for reference.

When you edit your first name, last name, or phone number, the changed field is highlighted. Use the revert button beside a changed field to restore its previous value before saving.

Select Save when you are ready. The Save button is only available after you make a change.

Set Your Default Folder

Your default folder controls the folder Sparky Cooks starts in on your dashboard and when saving recipes.

To change it:

  1. Select Default Folder.
  2. Choose a folder from the folder browser.
  3. Use New Folder if you need to create a folder first.
  4. Select Accept.
  5. Select Save on the profile page to make the default folder change permanent.

If you selected the wrong folder before saving, use the revert button beside Default Folder.

You can also manage the default dashboard folder from Settings.

Delete Your Profile

The Danger Zone includes Delete My Profile.

Deleting your profile disables it immediately and schedules it for permanent deletion in 30 days. Sparky Cooks sends an email with cancellation instructions. To confirm deletion, type DELETE MY PROFILE in the confirmation window.

Use this option only when you want to delete your profile and associated data. Account-level details, subscription choices, and other users are managed from Account, not Profile.
