Sharing Problems
What to check when a shared recipe or folder does not appear.
If a shared recipe or folder does not appear:
- Confirm the share request was accepted.
- Check the shared folder section in the dashboard sidebar.
- Check whether the selected shared folder has Include sub folders turned on.
- Clear dashboard search filters.
- Try All Files if you are not sure where the recipe should appear.
- Ask the sender to confirm the folder or recipe is still shared.
Shared recipes and shared folders are view-only.
Same-Account Sharing
Sparky Cooks blocks sharing with users who are already in the same account. Account users can already view account recipes from the dashboard. Edit access is controlled by ownership, folder ownership, and role.
Folder Shares
Folder shares show recipes in the shared folder and subfolders. Manage Sharing lists the folder share, not every recipe included by the folder share.
