Common Tasks
Add Photos
Upload and attach photos to recipes.
Photos are uploaded in Photos and inserted into recipes from the editor.
Upload the Photo
- Open Manage > Photos.
- Choose the upload action.
- Drop images into the upload area or click to browse.
- Crop the image if prompted.
- Save the upload.
Use common web image formats such as JPEG, PNG, and WebP. If a HEIC photo fails, export it as JPEG or PNG and upload that version.
Insert the Photo in a Recipe
- Open the recipe in the editor.
- Add an image block where the photo should appear.
- Choose Select Image.
- Select the uploaded photo from Photos.
- Save the recipe.
The first image in the recipe becomes the main recipe image used by the dashboard and recipe page.
Imported Recipe Photos
URL imports do not import source-site images. Upload and attach your own photos after the recipe is created.
