Share a Recipe
Share an individual recipe with another user.
Use recipe sharing when one specific recipe should be visible to someone outside your account.
Share from the Editor
Open a recipe you can share and choose Share from the editor save bar.
From Share Recipe, choose the sharing method that fits the situation.
Use Create Public Link when anyone with the link should be able to view the recipe without signing in.
After the link is created, you can:
- Copy the public link.
- Refresh the public preview image.
- Delete the public link.
Public links are read-only. Public viewers cannot edit, share, or comment on the recipe. Deleting the link removes public access for anyone who already has it.
Share with a Registered User
Open Share with a Sparky Cooks Registered User, enter the recipient's email address, add an optional message, and send the request.
The recipient must accept the request before the shared recipe appears for them.
Share from Files
Go to Manage > Files, select a recipe, and choose the share action.
The share action shares the selected item. If a recipe is selected, it shares that recipe. If a folder is selected, it starts the folder-share flow instead.
What the Recipient Can Do
Shared recipes are view-only. The recipient can read the recipe, see tags, and add comments, but cannot edit the original recipe or its tags.
The recipient can use Save As to make their own copy.
Sparky Cooks does not allow sharing with users already in your account, because account users can already view account recipes based on account permissions.
Manage Public Links
Go to Manage > Sharing to review public recipe links for the active account.
The Public Links section shows recipe name, folder, link status, view count, and last-viewed time. From there, you can copy a link, open it, refresh its preview image, or delete it.
