Create a Grocery List

Grocery lists can be generated from selected recipe cards or created directly from the Grocery Lists page.

Create a grocery list from recipes

1. Open the left sidebar.
2. Choose Create List from Recipes.
3. Select one or more recipe cards on the dashboard.
4. Choose Create from the selection bar.
5. Sparky Cooks generates a grocery list from the selected recipes.

The generated list opens as a separate grocery list page.

Create an empty grocery list

1. Choose Manage Grocery Lists from the sidebar or open Manage > Lists.
2. Enter a list name.
3. Add an optional description.
4. Choose the create button.

Edit a grocery list

On the grocery list page, you can:

• Rename the list.
• Add, edit, reorder, check off, and delete grocery list items.
• Delete checked items.
• Duplicate the list.
• Share the list if you own it.
• See which recipes were used to create the list.
• Delete the list when you no longer need it.

Grocery lists are separate from recipe content, so changing a grocery list does not change the recipe.

Recently synced lists can be used offline. Changes sync when your connection is available again.
