Save As
Use Save As to create your own editable copy of a recipe.
Use Save As when you want your own version of a recipe.
Save As is especially useful when:
- A recipe is shared with you as view-only.
- You are not the recipe owner.
- You want to experiment without changing the original.
Save a Copy
- Open the recipe in the editor.
- Choose Save As from the save bar.
- Enter the new recipe name.
- Choose the folder where the new recipe should live.
- Choose Save.
Your available folders depend on your account role and folder ownership.
Folder Selection
The Save As dialog may show your default folder first. You can also choose Browse All Folders to use the full folder explorer.
If the folder you need does not exist and you have permission to create folders there, create a new folder from the save explorer and then save the recipe into it.
Duplicate Names
If a recipe with the same name already exists in the selected folder, Sparky Cooks asks whether you want to replace it.
